About Intouch
Fitness for you

Our aim is to provide our clients with an ability to incorporate fitness into their lifestyle in a way that is sustainable in the long term. We do this by providing effective and affordable training sessions through our small group personal training programmes or one-to-one personal training sessions.

How do I get started?
Simple - contact us and our head personal trainer will call you back at a time of your choosing. She will discuss with you your aims, timescales, current fitness level, if appropriate what sort of people you would like to train with and any health issues (current injuries / illness etc) you may have. We will then work with you to refine a fitness programme that meets your expectations.

Intouch Fitness

What is small group personal training?
Small group personal training brings together the benefits of personal training with the motivation gained from exercising with others at a cost that is affordable. Find out more.

One-to-one personal training
One-to-one personal training is, usually, one-hour sessions where a personal trainer works directly with you.

Why choose Intouch?
Our focus on both small group personal training and one-to-one personal training means that we can ensure you get just what you need in order to achieve your health and fitness goals. Depending on what best suits your needs, we can devise a programme for you that includes a small group to train with, individual sessions, or a combination of the two. We will also regularly review your goals and achievements and make any necessary adjustments so that you stay on track and keep motivated.

If you have got this far, then you have probably already decided you would like to be in better shape - who wouldn't! - and probably tried before but not managed to keep at it.

So now you have made the decision to try again, here are our reasons why choosing Intouch's small group personal training should help you achieve long term change.

We believe that if your exercise doesn't tick these boxes it just won't work in the long term.

- Is your training fun and enjoyable  √
- Does it make you feel better √
- Is it challenging but achievable √
- Can you sustain your fitness as part of your lifestyle √
- Can you afford (£££) to train long term √
- Can you see results? √

We believe that our approach ticks all those boxes.

If we could all afford our own personal trainer twice a week, plus gym membership, then we would all be fantastically fit. Unfortunately, the costs of this are outside most people's budgets. Similarly, going to boot camps or classes often means a lack of focus on the individual. Yes they will help you get fit, but they will not be as effective as something more specifically geared towards you. Plus, you can easily miss classes or not find enough of the right classes to attend. We believe the flexibility we offer plus the focus on the individual gets you the results you're looking for in a timely fashion and at an affordable cost.

We will help you work out smarter not just harder. We will identify your goals and help you achieve them.

We won't be spending hours and hours running, cross training or stepping. We will create defined, focused and specific routines that will give you better results more quickly.

We will ensure you become stronger and more robust to cope better with the physical requirements of everyday living.

We will work on your balance and proprioception so you become more physically aware and less prone to accidents and injury.

If you have existing injuries or niggles, we can work with you to identify the cause and correct any imbalances.

Still not convinced -

Most of us spend most of our time doing ‘stuff’. Working, shopping, commuting, watching TV. Then a few times a year, if we’re lucky, travelling to far-flung destinations for holidays. Generally, we feel good to average when doing these things but most, if not all of the time, we’re either doing them tired, whilst on a diet or physically unprepared. As a westernised society, we have evolved to be as ‘infirm’ as we have ever been. We have washing machines, cars, vacuum cleaners and various other electrical gadgets to do jobs for us. As a result, when it comes to doing anything more than what we are ‘fit’ for – such as sitting working at a desk or watching TV – we are physically ill-prepared.

This is all about investing in you, investing in your body and focusing on what really makes a difference to enjoying everyday life.

Going to chat to your friend who works on the floor above about their weekend becomes a lot quicker and easier if you can run up the flight of stairs without having to spend five minutes recovering from the exertion. Being able to run home from work as opposed to getting stuck in traffic not only saves you time but helps you to de-stress and forget the day.

At Intouch Fitness we want to help you be in better shape so you enjoy your life as much as possible.

We can do that through spending some concentrated, quality time with you through focused training sessions.

We bring that personal touch to you through personal training programmes delivered on a one-to-one basis or with up to a maximum of three other participants.

This brings relevant fitness training to you in a manner that is convenient, affordable and effective.
